I don't why it would be fun to watch kids fight to the death, I guess they like to bet on who is going to win and see people formed alliances than betray their other teammates.

still, if 12 year olds are going to be killing, i wouldn't bet on that. i'd try not to watch. and the people who volunteer with the exception of katniss are just mental

I believe the capital people sorta just treat the Games like a long movie of some sort. They don't think the killing is actually real!

wow. that's weird. but it does seem to make slight ense and makes me think that they're not that sick minded. and the way they described how they looked at the tributes, it was like they thought that they were from a different species

The kid might not know it is real, but I am sure the parents do because they see the before games chariot ride in the streets of the Captiol for years now. So they have to be very stupid to think it is fake.

I wish she would make another book in the series, maybe possibility a pre-sequel that would focus on the first rebellion or the previous Hunger Games.

To be honest, I don't think a sequel or a prequel are needed. It doesn't leave you hanging, and they live happily ever after...Sorta

I want to know what causes the first rebellion. Most importantly, why did Captiol just give into those demands?
