Do you guys think that there will be any new Mega Evolutions? I certainly hope so, because they do have the ability to create updates for the games.
I hope that there will be a Mega Sceptile and Mega Swampert. It makes sense since there is a Mega Blaziken. I also have a feeling that Mega Latios and Mega Latias will play a role in these games. Of course, I really want there to be a Mega Kyogre and Mega Groudon.

I'm a bit worried that people have found mega lati@s and diance, hoopa and volcanion so far before all of their announcements, but not any other mega evolutions or mega stone items. Also, a lot of people are assuming all the starters will get mega evolutions, but remember that the XY starters didn't get any...just the Gen I starters. Although, Blaziken does have one...so why would they only give one to him and not the others? Hmm.
All that said, here are some hopes of mine (most of these probably won't happen, but w/e):
Mega Swampert Mega Breloom Mega Flygon or Altaria Mega Crawdaunt Mega Milotic (WATER/FAIRY TYPE PLS) Mega Tropius Mega Metagross Mega Regis? Maybe they could get an ability like Filter or Solid rock to help with that shared fighting weakness

I think their will be mega evolutions of Groudon and Kyogre, but it contains spoilers so I'll hide my reason. The fake red/blue stones Also, I'd love to see two mega evolutions of Raquaza (like mega Charizard, one looking like the shiny).

I'll like they make a Metagross Mega-Evolution. Just to see the difference with the sprite I made. Not a big fan of 3rd Gen. Why? The 7th Gym.

They could possibility do a DNA fusion Blue and Red Rayquaza like Black and White Kyurem.

Personally I came up with a theory that does support Mega Kyogre/Groudon. In the Gen III games you have to find those orbs that would awaken Groudon/Kyogre, but what if those stone were actually mega stones that never got put to their proper use? With the new discovery of mega stones that would tie in nicely and make the series have a small twist to the older story.

It is a great theory, but it is mentioned they are used to summon them(Or awaken them from their sleep). And in HG/SS i believe you required the Jade orb in order to summon rayquaza(An orb similar to the ones of Kyogre and Groudon). What i mean is they could be mega evolution stones but with the information on them so far they seem to have the use they are mentioned they have. And on another note, the only legendary pokemon(Not counting Latios and latias as they are yet unreleased as a mega evolution) that can mega-evolve is Mewtwo and he was made by humans.

Mega stones and mega evolution if i recall correctly have to do with making a strong bond with your pokemon. The pokemon you tame/capture are those which you bond with. Now the thing here is from a different approach, are legendaries ment to be captured? Sure there will be pokemon like Victinni, mew and Shaymin which can be considered friendly and easy to make friends with thus making it likely to have a mega stone. But consider Dialga and Palkia, deities made to preserve in order the structure of space and time. The weather trio are no different, they were made to shape the oceans, the land and the sky.

Well my main point back on that other post was that the orbs were what caused to have them summon, like you mentioned on your reply post. That is why I do think it might work out, since anyone who was worth enough to obtain the stone would sort of prove their worth to make the legendary pokemon their allies. Team Magma wanted to dry up the seas, and aqua wanted the world to be mostly ocean based. They sought out the legendary pokemon so they could be friends and help them achieve their goal. So if the stone was able to summon Groudon, with the correct bond, I think it's very possible to create that deeper connection and evolve again.
But it's just a theory... A GAME THEORY. (Second time xD)
