Which company do you like better? Nintendo or Sega?
As for me, I simply can't decide. They're both great companies that work well together and have been around for years. ^_^!

Eh, that's kind of hard. I'd probably say Nintendo since they've made more games that I've played in my lifetime, such as Smash Bros, Pokemon, Legend of Zelda, and a bunch of other classics.

I remember when Nintendo and Sega were going at each other's throats, kind of like Sony and Microsoft are nowadays. But I would say Nintendo is better, ONLY for the sole reason that I have played more Nintendo games than Sega (The only Sega games I've played were the original Sonic games)

I'd have to say Nintendo. The way I see it, for every good Sega game, there's at least three good Nintendo games. Also, the biggest thing Sega series Sega ever had going for them was Sonic, and it didn't even come close to matching up with Nintendo's numerous big series. I mean, if you look at it objectively, Sonic games are very counter-intuitively designed. The whole point of the game (and the character) is to go fast, but the games are often designed with conventional platformer logic that ends up breaking the pace and leading to a much less enjoyable experience. This was even the case in the better Sonic games like the second one. This was an issue that wasn't handled too well in the 3D games too. The games are practically on autopilot when you're going fast and are a pain in the butt when you have to do platforming stuff. When you're company's most popular franchise is flawed on many levels, that's not really a good sign.
That being said, I still think Sega's pretty great. I'm not a big fan of the games they themselves make, but they did publish Bayonetta (one of my favorite games of all time) and currently own my favorite developer (Atlus), so they're doing something right.

I personality prefer Nintendo because of Pokemon and Super Smash Bros, however I don't have any problems with Sega.

Sega did pretty bad in the 64 bit era, while Nintendo made 3D graphics. Graphics matter people! It is sad though that now they are sticking games for other consoles. I really can't imagine Sega getting back up. Now they are trying to get more noticed by crossing over the Sonic world with the Mario world. Obviously Nintendo dominates Sega.

I'll just say it again, Sega published Bayonetta and owns motherfucking Atlus. If we can forget about the whole Sonic thing, I might even say Sega is better.

Personally, I don't think graphics in a video game really matters. It really matters whether the game is fun or not. So for me, I don't really care if a game has bad graphics or not. I would play because the game is fun or enjoyable. Also, it's strange how some of you think sega's systems had bad graphics. I think sega dreamcast has amazing graphics for being a system in the 90s. It even had an online store!

Well when they were released the standards for graphics weren't all that great, and nowadays they're mostly known for their numerous glitches.

Now that we are talking about graphics i want to make special note of this commercial: Sega Genesis was made to compete with the original Nintendo(Famicom entertainment system) and was made with 16 bit graphics(Nintendo was 8 bit), yet even after this Nintendo had better sales in both games and consoles. After some years nintendo released the Super nintendo(Super Famicom) which far easily surpassed the Sega Genesis(The only thing Sega Genesis had which would beat Super Nintendo would be the processing power). So yeah in both instances nintendo won. So i would say Nintendo is better.

Not only that but everything about sonic is going fast as you said but he isnt even the fastest character in his own game and certainly doesn't break the sound barrier not even mentioning the light barrier as is stated in the games. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ze_uxxFJTvE&list=PL35FE5C4B157509C9

I have really nothing else much to say in this thread, but I do like both nintendo and sega so it's kinda hard for me to choose which one is better.
I like sega because of its systems and the games I enjoy like sonic, nights, and hatsune miku games.
I like nintendo because of mario, kid icarus, pokemon and super smash bros. series. Also, I enjoy their systems. Especially the N64 and Gamecube.
I can't really complain about the both of them because I enjoy both of the companies systems and games.
