The EXP. Share got a little (well, huge) change. Instead of it being a given item, it is now a Key item. If you have it activated, after every Pokemon is fainted the EXP. Share gives half of the XP to EVERY Pokemon on the team. For example, your Froakie faints a Chespin and it gets 200 XP for it, the EXP. Share will give everyone else in the party 100 XP.
This item is given to you right after beating the first Gym leader. You won't miss it!
In my opinion, it is the best item in the game so far.

Yeah, they are making training your Pokemon much easier.

I do like all the things they're doing. And you can just choose to leave it on or off. Definitely supports the amount of pokemon they're throwing into this region.

Very well balanced item. Makes all my Pokemon in the party level at a consistent pace and doesn't leave a Pokemon behind.

not quite, if you never turn it off, you can never have a consistent level but it will make grinding so much easier

It's AWFUL. It made the game way too easy for me and I beat it in like 2 days. I never even knew you could turn it off until after I beat the game, and as soon as I found this out, I did.

the whole point is that you have the option to turn it on and off!

I enjoy it. Do your super training, go grind on E4 to get that team done. I love it.

I disagree, people who I know have beat the game told me it is quite challenging even with the Exp. Share...So I guess it all varies in opinion.

That's true, it was challenging even with it, but if I knew it could have been harder, I would have done that.

It's not awful just I don't kno the world unneeded for some. And yeah because of it I defeated it in two days too.

It was the same deal for me. But I really enjoyed the game! The E4 in this game were badass! I love the Victory Road entrance for some reason. Haha
