Haven't heard of it. What's it about? I'm not too sure yet, I've only watched a few episodes, but its REALLY interesting. I recommend watching it when you have the time

I started watching the anime "Shingeki no Kyoujin" and it is quite good, not too many episodes and it revolves around a Young boy who had his mother tragically consumed by a "Titan" which are giant humanoid-like creatures that solely kill humans for fun, and to avoid destruction from these beasts humans made large walls in which they encapsuled themselves. I don't usually watch anime but my friends got me into Shingeki no Kyojin a while back and it's definitely been entertaining. I've found the previous few episodes in particular to be extremely well done. The basic idea of Shingeki is human beyblades spinning around really fast and getting eaten by really big people.

Oh the latest episodes were so extreeme! Is it just me, or was the scene where they were desecrating the dead bodies really powerful? I read the manga beforehand so the death of Levi's squad didn't make as much of an impact on me as it probably could have, but tossing Petra's body away like that caught me completely off guard. The entire episode was sort of traumatizing.

Levi, wouldn't you agree the most recent episode was quite inspirational? "One who is not willing to sacrifice can't change a thing"

So, yesterday I started watching a Spanish sub of Lucky Star so I can attempt to get better at Spanish. Then I realized that there's a lot I don't remember after taking four years of it... I guess it helped a little though.

"One who is not willing to sacrifice can't change a thing" Other than the fact that he doesn't seem to value life in the slightest, not even his own, it seems, as shown in chapter 49 of the manga, Erwin seems like a pretty likable guy in general. Looking like Ozymandias has to count for something.

Does anyone else think that animes shouldn't be longer than 30-50 episodes? I feel like having any more than that makes the show lose direction or get stale. I mean, consider Naruto and Bleach. They both have HUNDREDS of episodes and it's clear that they won't be ending any time soon. You clearly haven't watched a good long anime. There is a reason they are long, it's because they are good. Also, both Naruto and Bleach are on their last arcs.

I remember considering reading Naruto at one point, but after looking through its wiki, I felt as if Naruto's characters lacked depth and its premise was somewhat ordinary, so I decided against it. Feel free to prove me wrong.

I am not saying it's bad, i'm just saying it's highly overrated.

Do you have one you'd like to recommend?

I tried rewatching it but actually got bored... You clearly haven't watched a good long anime. There is a reason they are long, it's because they are good. Do you have one you'd like to recommend? Why yes I do have one in mind; One Piece. One Piece is really long, that's a fact but once you start the journey, you will be sent on a rollercoaster and you won't even feel it pass by! The author has made EVERYTHING relevant. The person you meet in episode 1 will appear again in episode 20, 200, and 500 and keep having an importance in the plot. The whole anime has a grand, master piece plot that is slowly being revealed and the connections and importance of certain individuals leaves your mind BLOWNNNN when you realise it. It is truly a masterpiece and there is a reason it's manga sales top 30 million every year, more than 20 million than any other manga every year. I do have to admit, though, the beginning of it is rather slow and can be tedious (1 - 20) however, once episode 20 is reached, that's when the awesomeness starts :3

I've tried One Piece. You're right, it is pretty good. I've seen a bunch of it, I was just never able to get into it. There was something about it that I personally found offputting, but I was never really able to put finger on what it was. Maybe it's my inexplicable dislike of stuff being cool in anime (that probably didn't come out right)? I guess it's because I prefer anime to be more mentally exciting than physically exciting (if you sorta get what I mean. Then again, my favorite anime is Lucky Star... so I my tastes are kinda bizarre when you compare that fact to the sentence prior.

I don't think you reached the point where the mentally exciting comes into place. Like I said, the start is quite boring and tedious IMO but later, the anime goes through so much mental coolness and physical coolness~ Like I previously said (I think XD) One Piece has it all. Comedy, Action, Emotion, Moral, Tragedy, Adventure, Zombies, Aliens, Mermaid, Giants, :3

I will say it's good, but for some reason I just can't appreciate it.
