Victini's defensive typing is pretty bad. Plus, I don't see him used a lot.
Now let's hope Chandelure doesn't get Shadow Tag anytime soon. If they ban him, I gotta rework my WHOLE team.

It's actually has base 100 in both defenseses. So it is like Shaymin. It's just doesn't have the best typing.

Chandelure would be scary with Shadow Tag. It would be an automatic kill.

Shaymin is number 37, that's surprising. I'd really expect it to be around 15-23 number.

It actually has the exact same base stats as Victini. It just doesn't have as large as a movepool unlike Victini

Shaymin runs decent support sets and has more potential with the little bit it does have.
I'll say it again, Victini has shit typing. That's why he's so low. Being weak to Stealth Rocks, Swampert, being countered nicely by top of the tier threats like Chandelure and a Stone Edge-carrying Mienshao isn't anything to write home about.
Actually, rock weaknesses in general are pretty bad, throwing Psychic as an additional type only adds insult to injury.

With you can just U-Turn out and switch into a different threat, such as Roserade

With you can just U-Turn out and switch into a different threat, such as Roserade Well running U-Turn on something very vulnerable to hazards is never a good idea. Also, stats alone don't determine a Pokemon's utility; it's the combination of its typing and movepool, alongside its stats, that make a Pokemon useable. That's why you see things like Entei and Articuno in lower tiers.

That's why you would have a Blastoise to rapid spin. Which is #2 on the usage list. By the way, it's not like Victini is #35 or something. It is #11!!

And you can block the spin with any Ghost type. Having a spinner doesn't get rid of the flaws of whatever Pokemon you have on you team, it just makes them more manageable. The very fact that you'd have to add someone else with a particular strategy just to make Victini more usable is exactly why he's not as used. At least Chandelure can run Pain Split sets and recover.

You could run a Wish Pass Umbreon. Like I said before, Victini is #11 on the usage. Anyway, why don't you use Kingdra to eliminate the Chandelure. I just made a decent team by arguing Umbreon, Victini, Kingdra, Blastoise, Roserade. Just one more... lol Since you really hate Victini so much, we should battle on Showdown. What is you username? Mine is in my signature. So when I go on, we can have a nice UU match
