I really won't care either way if the penny is discontinued or continued. It would suck that sale tax will rose to 10 cents, but oh well. It cost so much a year to create pennies, although I wouldn't mind still seeing them around.

In my opinion, creating a penny can lead to inflation, du to pennys cost 1 cent and the cost of making one. edit: wait no its not an opinion its a fact DON'T CRITICIZE ME!

It is more than just inflation that is the problem here, it is also about our debt and how creating the penny isn't worth spending the extra money. You are right through about that the create of the penny will eventually lead to inflation.

I agree with spencer, the cost of making a peny is not even worth the same value of the peny. The money they spend in it would be better invested in more important things such as environmental problems, security,etc.

You are correct Wolf, but at first without the penny is going to be a little crazy for a year then I am sure that everything will go back to normal after that.
