Would someone mind helping me proofread my essay for English to make it more grammarly correct? It is due Friday. Thank you! Boy Scouts of America is famous for shaping young boys into young men. Boy Scouts was brought to America on February 8th, 1910 by a man named William D. Boyce. The highest rank of Boy Scouts is Eagle and only two percent of all scouts earn Eagle. The journey to Eagle Scout is a rewarding experience. The BSA inspired the creation of Cub Scouts and the Order of the Arrow. (History of the BSA) The creation of Boy Scouts is a significant event in history for three reasons: the story of the BSA’s origin, the journey to Eagle Scout, and the creation of the BSA’s other organizations.
The BSA was founded by William D. Boyce. (History of the BSA) He discovered scouting when he was in London, England. Mr.Boyce lost his way in a fog, and a young boy helped him find his destination. William tried to tip the boy for his assistance, but the boy did not accept Mr.Boyce's money. The young boy told Mr.Boyce "No thank you, sir. I am a scout. I won't take anything for helping." Mr.Boyce was so impressed by this young boy's response that he met with the creator of scouting, Robert Baden-Powell. William liked what Mr.Powell told him about scouts, and Mr.Boyce thought that boys in America would like to join scouts. The Boy Scouts of America was approved on February 8th, 1910, under the laws of Washington DC. (Boy Scouts of America)
The journey to Eagle Scout is a hard adventure, but it is a beneficial expedition. Eagle Scout is the highest rank that a scout can achieve, and only two percent of all scouts are able to earn the rank of Eagle. There are six ranks before Eagle: Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, and Life. There are a total of seven difficult requirements for a scout to complete to obtain Eagle. A scout must be active in their troop for at least six months as a Life Scout. They need to demonstrate Scout spirit in their everyday lives by living the Scout Oath and Scout Law. A scout must earn 12 Eagle Scout's badges and 9 non-Eagle Scout's badges. As a Life Scout, the scout must have a position of responsibility for at least six months. A Life Scout need to plan, develop, and show leadership by completing an Eagle Scout's project for a religious institution, school, or their community. (Eagle Scout) Eagle Project's requirement was added in 1965. (Boy Scouts of America Historical Highlights) The Life Scout must part in a Scoutmaster conference with their troop's Scoutmaster. To successfully complete the journey to Eagle, the scout must pass an Eagle Scout board of review which is a final test to see what the scout have learned in scouts. (Eagle Scout)
The Boy Scouts of America had a part in the creation of Cub Scouts and the Order of the Arrow. Cub Scouts was created in 1930, and had 5102 members by the end of the first year of Cub Scout's creation. (History of the BSA) Cub Scouts starts in first grade, and end in fifth grade when the scout bridge over to Boy Scouts. Cub Scouts have five official ranks: Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos 1, and Webelos 2. Each rank corresponds with the scout's grade. Cub Scouts is the starting point for most Boy Scouts. (History of Cub Scouts) The Order of the Arrow is a secret organization in Scouting. In order to be able to join the Order of the Arrow, a scout must earn the rank of First Class and have at least 15 days of camping. The scout must be voted in by the other scouts in their troop. A scout will discover if they are voting into the Order of the Arrow during a special ceremony called a tapping out ceremony. The scout will need to pass an ordeal to become a member of the Order of the Arrow. The scouts must do tasks for an elangomat, and be quite for a 24 hour period. Ten months after a scout took their ordeal, they are able to take their brotherhood test and become an official member in the Order of the Arrow. (History of the BSA)
The creation of the BSA is an important event in history for three reasons: the story of how William D. Boyce found the Boy Scouts of America, the journey to obtain the rank of Eagle Scout, and the creation of Scouting’s brother organizations. William D. Boyce found the BSA on February 8th, 1910 and the Boy Scouts of America is still around today. Eagle Scout is the final rank in Scouts, and only two percent of Boy Scouts earn Eagle. Boy Scouts inspired the creation of both the Order of the Arrow and Cub Scouts. Boy Scouts of America is a positive organization that teach scouts valuable life lessons that the scout will cherish for the rest of his life.

I found a lot of repetitions in the essay mentioning previous points already pointed out. I'll suggest to repeat them only in the conclusion rather than in all the paragraphs. If it has a number of words limit I'll suggest deepening quotations or connecting sentences with connectors so that the essay looks more academic and polished. And well. That's it. Feel free to correct me if you want. after all it's not my native language :3

Thank you Draco for your help! What I actually meant with the How/Why explanation is: (Quote): "The highest rank available for Boy Scouts to get is Eagle and only two percent of all scouts earn Eagle ." Then I'll probably add "because of the difficulty of the /requests/missions/requirements (Whatever you think fits best) to achieve this rank and/or the dedication and diligence necessary to complete the Boy Scout ordeal from start to finish.
I'll suggest not coming into conclusion so fast. Explanations and possibilities are your best choice when trying to support your arguments or anecdotes.

So this is the sentence that I am using "Most scouts that do not earn scouts had a difficult time completing the requirements and/or lack the dedication to stay in scouts." How does that sound?

"Most scouts struggling to earn eagle, have a difficult time completing the requirements and/or lack the dedication to stay in scouts."

I don't think the comma between eagle and have is necessary. "Most scouts struggling to earn eagle have a difficult time completing the requirements and/or lack the dedication to stay in scouts."
As Draconaitr25 touched upon in his initial post, you could probably combine some of the sentences. It's not too bad for the most part, but the first halves of the first and third paragraphs, as well as parts of the fourth paragraph to an extent, have very choppy sentences, which can make the passage a bit irritating to read at times.
If you wish, I could do a more in-depth check later; I'm liking draco's suggestions overall and it's not in too bad a shape, but one grammar check isn't usually enough for most pieces of writing.

Thank you two for your input. I know a lot of the sentences are choppy, but I think I will still be able to get a good grade.
I added a final sentence to the second paragraph, because I had to have one more source in that paragraph. "The BSA was a huge success and had over a million members by 1935." How does that sound? I think it is a good way to end the paragraph since it shows the success of the BSA.

I got a 95% on my page, and I had only four grammar errors on it. (I am sure that my essay had more than four mistakes, but at least my teacher only caught those four.) I would not be shocked if I got the highest grade in my class. Thank you Draconaitr25 and Corporal Levi for your help!
