Everyone seems to have different opinions about the 2 new gaming consoles. Whether it's "PS4 is defiantly going to sweep the floor with the Xbox" or "Xbox One is going to ge the next generation of gaming!" Personally I think it's a little early to be sure which system I'm going to buy first (if ever), but what are your reactions on the revealing of the PS4 and Xbox One? Feel free to express your opinions below.

I don't play XBox or Playstation so I really don't have an opinion on this, although I might end buying one of these in the near future.

Truth be told, I wasn't too impressed. Sure voice commands sound cool (no pun intended) but they are completely unnecessary and needlessly makes the console that much more expensive. As for watching TV, again totally not needed since I'LL BE PLAYING FUCKING GAMES ON IT!!! Things used to be so much better when they actually focused on games, and not on all of this other shit we don't really need. Conclusion, I'm not getting either system. (At least not for a really, REALLY long time)

I had pretty much decided that I was leaning towards the PS4 a while ago. After seeing the XBox One, it really feels like they forgot it was supposed to be a gaming device. People already have working televisions, and their experience with it won't change in the slightest if they happen to be doing something they can already do, but through their XBox now. Actually, watching TV through you're XBox is probably gonna be more complicated...
Anyway, PS4 is most likely gonna be much better. Considering that the new Call of Duty seems to be the XBox One's flagship launch title, I don't have any confidence in that system. PS4 is probably gonna have a similar trend to the PS3 in terms of exclusives. Until just recently, I was kicking myself over the fact that I have a 360 instead of a PS3, then I realized that the 360 version of Bayonetta is miles better, and I cared less.
So, my choice of next gen consoles is gonna be PS4 and Wii U (almost entirely because of Bayonetta 2...)

I like how after they announce the Xbox one, Wii U sales went up. I guess people think the Xbox one will be so bad that they are willing to buy a Wii U instead.

I think I would want to buy the XBox One if I had to choose between the two...

Why? It really seems like Microsoft is taking a heavily anti-consumer approach with it.

I don't have high hopes for either, but the PS4 does seem a bit better. What's Xbox One adding- OH BOY! TV! Because cable doesn't exist in Microsoft.
Also, after looking at the official web page for Xbox One, it seems to copy the Windows 8 style of main menu customization. Sure, Bill Gates creates both, but did they really have no other ideas for the main menu style? They could have thought of something more original. Other than these things, it seems like the same stuff that we're used to. The games are probably going to be the same as well.
PS4, on the other hand, is adding much more new material, such as Touch pad controllers, Built in mono speaker and headset jacks, enhanced controller vibration, a share button on the controller to send videos to friends at light speed, and a light bar on the controller for better wireless controller connection. However, the games still seem to be the same.
Overall, PS4 has a lot more to offer than the Xbox One does, but they both seem lacking in new game material.

I agree Guido, the real seller for me would be the kind of games that the consoles' are going to be releasing. The only other thing I can think of is that the Xbox One is probably going to cost $500+ simply because it has DVR, cable, Kinect, Xbox, and other technology wrapped up into a nice present. I also knew Microsoft was in it for the money, I mean think about Xbox Live. You have to pay $5 a month to have social interactions, while the PS is a one time thing.

I heard somewhere that the starting price is gonna be $900 for XBox One. Dunno if that's true, but if it is... they're absolutely insane.

I tell ya! It's not going to be your typical $300 console! Just a big "f u" to gamers, straight from Microsoft.

I mean think about Xbox Live. You have to pay $5 a month to have social interactions, while the PS is a one time thing. From what I heard, the reason that you have to pay to use Xbox Live is so they can have stronger firewalls to prevent hackers. PS3 does have a good deal of hackers because it doesn't have a firewall preventing people from hacking it.

@aqua, If you ask the gaming community though, a strong amount will say that they'd rather use the PS just because of that. I know it's an argument that a lot of people in my school talk about and that's always a very debated subject.
