I think my favorite Battle Network game would have to be Megaman Battle Network 6. It was a grand finale to the series, and it was very different compared to the other Battle Network games. Lan moved to Cyber City and developed friendships with Mick, Tab, and Iris (Who was secretly a NetNavi, if you played the Mega Man X series then it wasn't much of a secret.) The WWW return, and now Baryl is a member of the WWW (This game really did a great job bringing out the evil of Baryl and Colonel.) Also, having Chaud spying on you as a some creep guy was pretty cool. So I have to say that this was my favorite of the BN games.

XD My favorite game has to be Battle Network 3, because it has a kick ass story, pretty awesome (and lengthy) post-story, and it introduced probably the most important key item in the whole series: the Navi Customizer. Not to mention, the chip selection was amazing. Plasma 3, and Shaker 3 were probably some of the best chips in the game. There was also AirShoes (so you wouldn't have to install that awkward program into the NC), FolderBack (the most broken Giga chip in the whole series imo). The game's bosses were really challenging as well. I mean, BubbleMAn had a ridiculously annoying gimmick (hiding in the back row and throwing random shit at you), DrillMan was a pain in the behind, ProtoMan Beta was near impossible to S-Rank (I've been trying for years to no avail). And while I'm at it, the secret bosses were BADASS!!! Bass GS and Serenade, two of the most powerful Navis on the Net which can only be fought in the Secret Area, deep in the depths of the UnderNet?! You can't get any more badass than that. Battle Network 6 was a great game, it improved the mechanics introduced in past games (the NC from BN3, the Soul Unison system from BN4, and the Chaos Soul from BN5), but the bosses were ridiculously easy; BlastMan made GustMan seem like monster. DiveMan was another pushover. CircusMan (aka ClownMan) and ElementMan were a bit tougher, but that's about it. The only WWW Navi that was an actual challenge was Colonel (thank God!) If they had buffed up the difficulty a bit, no doubt BN6 would have been favorite, but BN3 comes out on top because everything stated above, and also for the little bit of nostalgia it bring me whenever fire it up on my DS :3

Considering the fact that MMBN 6 been out for like seven years, I am assuming that there wouldn't be much people who just start playing the game now.
