I think they are really cool, but it is going to get some getting used to. What do you guys think of the new graphics?

Hell yeah, finally official Pokemon games are in 3D just like I hoped! the starters look WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than the Unova starters! Although this will be a disgrace to spriters who would want to use them to fuse. Hopefully someone will make scratches of them.

I'll say it again, spriting will still be possible! Even if it's animated in 3d, every character model will still have a bunch of frames of animation. At least one of them should be usable. While it may look a bit different, it should still work. Either way, I'm sure they're gonna have normal pictures of them in the Pokedex.
On the other hand... they don't really have an obligation to cater to the desires of the spriting fanbase. I mean, that would imply that they condone people hacking into their games to retrieve graphical data (I mean, we gotta get the official sprites from somewhere).

hmm, pretty good. Just hoping they'll make it so the 3d Pokemon are less Cubic. as in, make the 3d more graphical like Pokemon Battle Revolution or something. Though, that'll take a long time for that to come onto Portable systems.

Its hard to say how good the graphics are from a short video, but they look promising. I just wanna see how awesome everything will look with the 3D on, especially the battles O.O

But I did really like what I saw in the video, so it is like the video I would be happy.

I really think they should make a regular DS version...

To be honest, I don't think that would be a smart idea on Nintendo and GameFreak's part. Since the 3DS was created, they may as well increase the gameplay of Pokemon. They can't do that if they stay with the DS.

It is kinda of weird to do that. I recommend just to try to get a 3DS, because they are pretty cool!

Why would it be weird though? It would offer the game to those who don't have or can't afford a 3DS. And I will because I don't have either lol but I'm just saying wouldn't it make more sense to offer it to both systems?

Nintendo is moving all their first-party content to the 3DS and Wii-U. I guess you can consider the DS a dead system now.
