Hello everyone this is one of my unique sets and today i will be posting jirachi. I've seen lately alot of people run jirachi just to abuse of flinch Example: BOdy slam iron head, Scarf Iron head+Zen headbutt. But i wanted to run a jirachi not based on hax so here we go: Jirachi @ Leftovers Trait: Serene Grace EVs: 76 HP / 216 Def / 80 SAtk / 136 SDef Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Thunder/Wish - Flash Cannon - Psyshock - Calm Mind This jirachi's spread is unique so it can survive several hits, this set is also to be used mostly in rain. In rain jirachi is only weak to ground as fire is weakened, having a good def jirachi can take on nicely physical moves, enough sp def so after 1 calm mind most special moves don't do much, and with the proper sp atk so it can take out several foes after 2 calm minds. Thunder paralizes oponnents on it's most and can hit heatran normally, flash cannon lower's oponent's sp def sometimes wich is actually good and gains stab from steel type, while psyshock takes care of blissey and oposing calm minders, what makes this jirachi perfect for Calm mind and bulk is bein inmune to toxic, something latias lacks. jirachi is probably a very overlooked on it's special way. While Thunder is good on non-rain teams it's better to run wish for recovery.

I just faced a set like this today. They work pretty well. Fortunately for me, trying to kill Terrakion was a priority, so they didn't have time to boost (which ended up in me defeating the Jirachi).
Unique sets are always good.

Unique sets are what keep pokemon interesting, if we were to follow common sets it would be just another common thing.

Tossing a King's Rock on Jirachi adds insult to injury. Yet, I see Leftovers more often.

Oh, king's rock is really pro on cloyster, trust me it really helps as every hit has like 9% flinch that makes cloyster's flinch rate like 45%. It really helps against skarmory. however setting up is harder.

Does this set work against Ferrothorns? From the looks of it, it doesn't have anything to deal with them. Might I suggest running HP Fighting instead of Flash Cannon sometimes?

HP fight is a good idea for ferros, but in the other hand ferros can't do much either except leech seed. Flash cannon makes some use of serene grace lowering it's sp def. Still hp fight can help against other foes, but adding so makes it vulnerable to gliscors(When oponent switch to them).
