I dont know if people talked about it. But I'll like characters dont have any repeated moves. In Brawl, Capt. Falcon and Ganon had almost all the moves the same, except movement. Link and Young Link I understand but use items of their time. Wolf, Falco and Fox had almost the same moves too. Their guns and (Up + B) were the same except different designs and behaviour.

In Brawl, Capt. Falcon and Ganon had almost all the moves the same, except movement. Ganondorf's ->B stops them in place and throws them into the ground. His FAir is a punch of some sort, while Captain Falcon's is a kneeing attack. They tend to work quite differently. Their forward smashes launch them in different directions. Ganondorf's launches them upward, while Captain Falcon's launches them sideways. Their standard A moves work differently. Ganondorf has the electric punch, and Falcon can go into a punching combo. They're actually pretty different. Wolf, Falco and Fox had almost the same moves too. Their guns and (Up + B) were the same except different designs and behaviour. Wolf's ->B goes upward too. Works almost completely differently. His blaster has the blade at the end of it, and that can be really useful. Plus, he has a completely different arsenal of aerial attacks, and that's what sets him apart. Falco is also pretty different. His forward smash works a bit differently. The fact that his blaster has stopping power makes a HUGE difference over Fox's blaster. The fact that he tosses his reflector also makes a very big difference. His ^B attack has less range, so that changes the way you have to approach recovery a bit. Most of the time, the repeated moves work quite differently. Captain Falcon and Ganondorf play completely differently, so it doesn't really matter if they have some of the same moves. Same with the Starfox characters. They're only similar in the most primitive ways. Seriously, try playing with all of these characters and try to tell me with a straight face that they're too similar.

I remember when ganendorf was great in melee, then he got slower got outclassed. I do have to agree and say that wolf is very much different from the other 2, still I hope they can top brawl with this title.

I hope they can top brawl with this title. That's almost impossible not to unless they're trying to make it as much like Brawl as possible. Brawl was absolute garbage. I went back and played it recently after playing a bunch of Melee and Project M, and Brawl was practically unplayable. I'll even go as far as to say I completely hated it. The physics and overall gameplay just feel very wrong and it's VERY unbalanced. In Brawl you can easily tier the characters because there are tons of characters who are objectively better than all of the others (Meta Knight, Falco, Diddy Kong, Marth, etc.). Seriously, look at this tier list: www.ssbwiki.com/List_of_SSBB_tier_lists_%28NTSC%29 Notice how C tier downwards remains pretty much unchanged throughout all of the different versions of the list? That's because those characters were objectively, and noticeably worse than the other characters. Yeah, I know it's about finding ways to beat the better characters, but there's a reason why the same characters stay on the top, while others stay on the bottom. It's objectively unbalanced. These tier lists were all made from analyzing results of competitive play among people who are really good at the game, and there's still very little change among the list. You can very easily make a case as to why one characters is better than another. That's not nearly the case with Melee. www.ssbwiki.com/List_of_SSBM_tier_lists_(NTSC) If you look at Melee's tier list, you may notice a similar trend, but in Melee you can easily make a case as to why every character (except Pichu who is more of a joke character anyway) is good. I mean, two characters I frequently use in Melee are Zelda and Ness, and they're pretty low on the list, but I can make the case that they're good because they have strong grabs, good aerial attack, and some very viable ranged options. Melee was balanced enough that its tiers really only came into play at a tournament level. And even then, you can see that more than half of the roster is at least viable at that level. And then there's Project M. It's basically Brawl if it didn't suck. It's by far the most balanced, and if you still think Brawl is good after playing it, then I'll probably have another wall of text for you to read. (I wrote that under the assumption that you were saying Brawl was super good)

Well I do have to say that I was looking for more of a good side of brawl, but I mean I didn't really play brawl because I wanted to follow tiers or play it that competitively. I can agree and say that melee was much more balanced as far as the gameplay went, but I enjoyed brawl because it allowed a more enjoyable experience to my friends and I. The wii allowed you to have people who preferred the gamecube controller, and people who liked the wii better could use that as well. Brawl offered more characters, which meant that people who didn't play melee but played games like MGS, Pikmin, etc. could relate to the game more. I found the campaign enjoyable at the time, and was fun to play through with a friend on intense. Brawl also allowed for you to battle friends over wifi and was a great party game overall. As much as I enjoyed Melee I really enjoyed brawl because of it's imbalance. This opened up the opportunity to have better players play as lower tier characters, and have newer/worse players to play as someone like Meta Knight. I will say that I liked Melee better if I had a bunch of people that were really good at the game, but if I just wanted an icebreaker at a birthday party or something, brawl was my go to.

The only thing I thought was bad in the game was when they replaced Mewtwo for Lucario and took out Pichu and Young Link. (Though, I do like Toon Link, so I can't complain.)

Speaking about Lucario, he is confirmed. I'm actually a little bit surprised that he returned.

Lucario was good IMO. If he was in melee he'd be quite a powerful character, access to a strong counter and powerful long range attack.

It would be sick if they bring Mewtwo back.
