What do you guys think about customizing your trainer? I personality think that this would be great, because you aren't the same boring old trainer the whole game and you can express your self with your trainer.

I agree it would be a great idea. And perhaps some wifi events could include diferent customization parts for your character.

Yeah, that would be cool too.

This might be true in Pokemon X and Y. The mirror in the trailer is leading people to theorize a possibility of character customization! I think that would be pretty awesome...

Yeah, I am hoping that mirror means that we will be able to customize our trainers.

This would be great, so when you're battling a friend it doesn't seem like a clone of your own character!

It would be interesting to see the different combinations. I can only imagine how many people will make themselves look like a complete idiot on purpose haha

Yeah I am sure that there will be a ton of stupid customized trainers.

The only thing is that Gamefreak would've needed to make a 3D Model for EVERY SINGLE possible combination for this function to work. Hopefully they had enough in them to do so.

Yeah, they did that with PBR so I wouldn't imagined it being that hard to do.

Well, I'm imagining you're talking about something like changing clothes and hairstyle at will. I can't imagine it being more complicated than the avatar system on the 360. They just keep the same framework animations for it and the model is aesthetically altered. By that, I mean that the 3D model is animated in its most basic format and then just changed appearancewise. Unless, I have no understanding of animating, but that's how it works to the best of my knowledge.

There is probably going to be a special building where you can customize your trainer.

Or maybe a closet in your room at your home town.
